How contractors price jobs now, versus with Cleanpricing

Pricing by gut feel

  • You eyeball the square footage on a walkthrough and guess a number that feels roughly right
  • You underprice a building because you're worried about losing the bid to a lower quote
  • You find out three months in that the frequency the client actually wants costs more than you charged for
  • You write a new proposal from scratch for every building because your old ones live in scattered documents
  • You show up to the walkthrough without a clear list of questions, so the quote is based on incomplete information

Pricing with Cleanpricing

  • You enter square footage and building type and get a rate range built for that kind of space
  • You quote with a defensible number because you know what similar buildings and frequencies actually cost to service
  • You price nightly, 3x/week, and weekly service separately from the start, so the frequency is priced correctly
  • You send a filled-in bid template within the hour instead of drafting a proposal from nothing
  • You walk into the facilities manager meeting with the questions that change the price already in hand

Questions before you sign up

Do I need to sign a contract?

No. Every plan is billed monthly and you can cancel from your account at any time. There's no annual commitment and no cancellation fee, because we'd rather earn the renewal than lock you into one.

What happens to my bid templates and quotes if I cancel?

You can export every quote and template you've built before you cancel. We don't hold your pricing history hostage — it's your data and your business, and you should be able to walk away with what you made.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. You can move up to Crew Lead or Multi-Site, or drop down to Solo Bidder, whenever your bidding volume changes. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle, and we prorate the difference.

Is the pricing guidance specific to my city's labor costs?

The Solo and Crew Lead plans give you general square-footage and frequency guidance that you adjust to your local labor and supply costs. Multi-Site adds region-specific adjustments for contractors bidding across more than one labor market.

What if the guidance says one price and I still lose the bid?

The guidance gives you a defensible starting range, not a guarantee — the facilities manager still chooses. If you're consistently losing bids at the suggested range, tell us the building type and frequency and we'll look at whether the range needs adjusting.

Who owns the data I enter about my clients and buildings?

You do. We store your quotes and building details so you can reuse them, but they're never shared, sold, or used to price against you. You can request deletion of your account data at any time.

Not sure which plan fits your bidding volume?

Tell us how many bids you send a month and what kind of buildings you're quoting, and we'll tell you honestly which plan makes sense.
